Hi!  I am Halley Burleson, owner, and photographer.  Born and raised in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains I have spent most of my life, hiking, kayaking, climbing, and horseback riding in the beautiful blue ridges of North Carolina. I have a passion for the great outdoors and it was from that, I developed my passion for photography.

In February of 2012, I had the opportunity to put this hobby to great use. I used my photography to raise money to help support an orphanage in Arequipa, Peru. Since then I have been able to support several local non-profits such as a feeding program for underprivileged children, Mitchell County Animal Shelter, JAARS Inc, Project Healing Waters, Team River Runner, Special Olympics of Avery & Mitchell County, Run for Holland, Camp Funshine, Aktion Club of the Carolina's, and NC High Peaks.  This has all been possible because of photography. It is now my goal each year to pick one organization I truly believe in and support their mission.
